2008

  • Kruger Energy builds its first wind power facility, namely the Port Alma Wind Farm in Chatham-Kent, Ontario. With 44 turbines, the Port Alma Wind Farm has an installed capacity of 101.2 MW.
  • The same year, Hydro-Québec selects Kruger Energy to build a wind farm in the Montérégie region, approximately 30 km from downtown Montréal.
  • Also in 2008, Kruger Energy implements a state-of-the-art control centre at its Montréal Head Office to remotely monitor its various facilities.
